The Asian Youth Leaders Elite Program (AYLEP) is a window for youth to explore the world, a bridge for youth to connect with one another, and a platform for youth to gain fulfilling and amazing experiences from Asia to worldwide. AYLEP has benefited 22781 participants from 85 countries in the past 17 years.
The Asian Youth Leaders Elite Program is a prestigious initiative designed to empower and inspire the next generation of global leaders. With a focus on immersive learning, collaborative projects, cross-cultural exchange, global perspectives, and personal growth, the program stands as a beacon of excellence in youth leadership development.
Each university can recommend 8 students. And scholarships will be provided to those outstanding students if they are selected.

Two collaboration opportunities with Switzerland
Connect and Collaborate Grant from the Leading House for South Asia
These grants support Swiss-based researchers who are addressing the world’s most pressing challenges by sharing knowledge, exchanging findings, and establishing long-lasting ties. The projects supported with this grant must include collaboration across different scientific fields and/or involve stakeholders contributing complementary perspectives. The grant supports activities such as the organization of workshops, symposia, and teaching activities, or similar events that span different scientific fields and are organised in collaboration with research partners and / or institutions in partner countries, including India.

Democratizing large-scale AI for the benefit of society: Open calls for disruptive ideas
The Swiss AI Initiative is distributing 10-20 million GPU hours in 2025 for disruptive research projects through open calls. The initiative looks for research projects that aim to contribute to advances in AI fundamentals or impactful applications of AI. Researchers outside of Switzerland are encouraged to apply if they team up with at least one of the Swiss PIs (see list in link below) and aim to create novel open science artifacts that benefit the Swiss, European or global ecosystem and societal context.

Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Scholarship, National Chengchi University, Taiwan
The Office of Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Chair, National Chengchi University (NCCU) is pleased to announce its annual graduate scholarship grants for the academic year 2025-2026.
1. Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Chair, National Chengchi University (NCCU) has established this scholarship to commemorate Mr. Lo Chia-luen's contributions and to encourage outstanding graduate students to come to NCCU to study sinology and exchange knowledge. This initiative aims to connect Taiwan and Asian experiences with international Sinology trends and to conduct forward- looking research.
2. The scholarship is intended for graduate students and research topics should be related to Sinology.
3. Financial assistance and award period:
(1) The scholarship offers a monthly stipend of NTD 30,000 for MA students and NTD 50,000 for PhD students.
(2) The award period is 3 to 6 months
• Period I:between September 2025 to February 2026 (which must begin in September 2025), or
• Period II:between February 2026 to July 2026 (which must begin after mid-February 2026)
(3) Scholarship recipients are required to carry out their research at NCCU.
(4) The scholarship provides recipients from overseas universities with one round-trip, economy-class flight ticket.
4. Applications should be submitted to the Office of Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Chair via email by May 15th, 2025.
Applications should include the following documents:
(1) Application form (Field of study must be indicated)
(2) Research plan written in Chinese or English (maximum of 2,000 characters)
(3) Curriculum Vitae (including a list of publications)
(4) University certificate of enrollment and transcript
(5) Two letters of recommendation
(6) A NCCU advisor consent letter
5. The scholarship recipient is required to:
(1) have a NCCU advisor during the award period
(2) participate in academic activities conducted by by Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Chair
(3) take part in the Courses arranged by International Graduate Lectures of Sinology, NCCU
(4) receive only this grant and no other scholarships from Taiwan during the award period
(5) submit a final report by the end date of the award and attend the workshop to present the research results
(6) acknowledge NCCU support in publications and agree to allow NCCU to use the publications in education promotion

“Digital Manufacturing – BRICS+ Future Skills Challenge 2025" International Online Championship.
The R-Pro Concern is developing "Rational Production" (R-Pro) software – a digital platform for creating digital twins, simulation modeling, offline programming of robots and other industrial equipment.
With R-Pro software platform, we are developing educational solutions – digital learning factories which are actively used by universities worldwide for training in the field of innovative digital manufacturing. More details about our software can be found in the attached brochure.
The International Championship "Digital Industry – BRICS+ Future Skills Challenge" is conducted with R-Pro software. The championship presentation is also included in the attachment.
The competitions are held online according to the WorldSkills rules and are free of charge for universities. During the competition, teams apply their skills in creating and optimizing the digital manufacturing of the future. Teams consist of four participants and one accompanying compatriot expert (a representative of the university).
Competitive tasks at the championship include:
Task 1. Creation of the digital twin of a future production facility.
Task 2. Digital engineering and virtual commissioning of a robotic cell or line.
Task 3. Digital analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Task 4. Creation of the virtual tour around the manufacture of future.
The International Championship «BRICS+ Future Skills Challenge» has already been held twice. The last time teams from different parts of the world took part in it: Belarus, Bolivia, China, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Peru, South Africa and Russia.

In order to prepare teams for the championship, R-Pro Concern will provide participants with free temporary licenses of R-Pro software, and Training Center of Institute of Innovative Technologies in Business (IITB) will offer a free educational intensive program —«Digital Industry» skill camp.
