Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position on purely temporary basis out of the DBT project titled “Towards manipulation of the binding affinity of a calcium ion to the calcium binding proteins using computational approaches with experimental validation: Ca2+ binding site prediction, free energy calculation and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) experiment” with PI Prof. Bandyopadhyay and co-PI Prof. Gourinath in the SCIS / SLS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Consolidated Emoluments: 20, 000/ (consolidated)
Age limit:- 35 years
Job Description: The selected candidate will be expected express and purify calcium binding proteins and estimate their calcium binding affinity. Should have knowledge of protein purification, ITC etc.
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in biological sciences from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 55% marks.

The initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability of the project whichever is earlier and the same can be curtailed/extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority for the duration of the project.
