Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the SERB sponsored research project entitled ‘Target mimicry-based diminution of microRNA167 genes’ expression targeting Auxin Response Factors (ARFs)’ for enhanced silique development in Indian Mustard (Brassica juncea L.)’
Duration of the project: Three years (03 Years)
Essential Qualifications : Master degree in any branch of Life Sciences, (Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) with qualified CSIR-UGC NET
Desirable: Candidate may have knowledge of plant tissue culture and molecular biology techniques.
Fellowship amount: Rs.37000/- (for first two years) + HRA, & Rs. 42,000/- (for the third year) + HRA
Appointment will be made purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
Age limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Woman/Physically Handicapped candidates)
