Applications are invited for the following positions of ONE Research Associate and ONE LABORATORY ASSISTANT in the ICMR funded project entitled “Study on Efflux pumps and lipid mediated drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis”.
POSITION: Research Associate
Essential qualification: PhD in any branch of Biological Sciences with at least one first author publication and at least three years extensive working experience on Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Desirable: Candidates with prior work experience on Mycobacterium tuberculosis and lipids, along with abovementioned qualifications will be given preference.
Candidates should submit a brief (about 1 page) summary of their research work and a copy of their CV (with names and e. mail contacts of two referees) along with the application.
Salary: As per ICMR norms (INR 47000 p.m. plus HRA as permissible)
The position is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the satisfactory performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.

POSITION: Laboratory Assistant
Essential qualification: Candidate must have completed XII with minimum of three years working experience in a microbiological laboratory.
Desirable: The candidate must have multiskilled working experience which includes laboratory cleaning, autoclaving, miscellaneous laboratory work, official paper work etc.

Salary: As per ICMR norms (INR 17000 p.m. consolidated)
The position is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the satisfactory performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.
