Applications are invited for the following post in a DST-sponsored project “Activation of GPI-N-acetylglucosamine transferase in Candida albicans”.

Minimum essential qualifications: Candidate should have an M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with a good academic record and practical research experience in molecular biological methods used in the study of yeast/ fungal biology and/or protein expression/purification from yeast/ fungal cells and their crystallization. The candidate should necessarily have qualified the CSIR/UGC NET or equivalent exam.
Desirable qualifications: Candidates with experience in techniques such as cloning, extraction of RNA and DNA, RT-PCR, protein expression and purification/ protein crystallization and having knowledge of virulence assays would be preferred.
The advertised posts are temporary and subject to availability of funds from DST.
