Walk-in interview for JRF position

Application is invited for following temporary post in DST funded project entitled"Assessment of seasonal variations in Hydrology and Cryosphere of upper Ganga basin" at School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Junior Research Fellow (One post): Postgraduate degree (with minimum of 55% marks) in Environmental Sciences or any other related field with relevant research experience.The NET/GATE qualification is mandatory for application. The candidate having experience in High Performance Computing system, handling climate data, numerical and hydrological modelling and computer skills with additional experience in climate data visualisation tools will be given preference.
Guidelines
- The positions are completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship scale will be as per sanction in the projects. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority for the next year.
- The candidates are requested to come with the original mark-sheets and certificates. They are also requested to bring self-attested copies of the above-mentioned documents along with an updated CV, which has to be submitted at the interview venue.
- Eligible candidates are requested to be present at School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi at 10 AM on 14 October 2019.
- In case based on the performance,suitable candidate is not found then lower grade with corresponding scale will be offered.
- Note that the candidates coming for the interview will not be paid any TA/DA for attending the same.
