Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the project titled “Exploring design, synthetic and computational tools to accomplish highly stable organic radical ions, multi-electron reservoirs, organic multiferroics and their self-assembled soft materials” at the School of Physical Sciences, JNU, New Delhi-110067, funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India under the SwarnaJayanti Fellowship.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry with minimum 60 % marks from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification: The candidates having recently qualified JRF UGC/CSIR NET examination and having a valid tenure of the fellowship are preferred, since the project requires continuation to the Ph.D. degree.
Notes:
1. Fresh candidates would be given priority in shortlisting.
2. The project requires continuation of the research scholar to Ph.D. degree.
3. Candidates should have interest in organic and organometallic synthesis and learn modern experimental techniques and computational tools.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing interview.
Salary and Tenure: As per the DST, Govt. of India (GOI) and the existing project rules.
The selected candidate will be appointed on a temporary basis, initially for a period of one year.
