Applications are invited for a post of JRF in a SERB funded research project entitled: “Understanding spin transport in van der Waals heterostructures for atomically thin spin-logic and memory devices” at the Special Centre for Nanoscience (SCNS), JNU. The position is purely temporary,initially for one year which may be extended till the validity of the projectbased on an assessment of the candidate’s performance and will be bound by the norms of SERB, Govt. of India.
- Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Physics,Electronicswith a minimum of 60% and experience in semiconductor device modeling, simulation,and device characterization.
- Desired Qualification: Basic knowledge of quantum electronics and experiences in Density Functional Theory (DFT).
- Fellowship:As per Funding agency norms.
- Duration:The initial position of the JRF is for one year and it will be extended year wise for another 2 years depending on the performance of the recruit.
