WALK-IN INTERVIEW for positions in ICAR-NASF Research Project
A walk-in-interview for the position of a Senior Research Fellow (one position) in the below-mentioned project/scheme will be conducted on the date/time and venue as shown underneath. The position is on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. Initial appointment will be made for one year and extended further subject to the satisfactory performance. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the ‘Selection Committee’ for the Walk-in-Interview at the Special Centre for Molecular Medicine (SCMM), JNU, New Delhi-110067 with an updated curriculum vitae and original relevant documents (also with a set of photocopy) in support of their qualification(s) and experience.
The positions are in ICAR-NASF Research Project entitled: ‘Development of a rapid and robust high throughput reporter cell-based bioassay for detection of xenobiotics in milk’ under Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, JNU, New Delhi-110067. Project duration is up to July, 2021.
- For Senior Research Fellow (one position): Rs. 25,000+HRA per month.
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Biological Sciences with NET qualification and two years of research experience or MVSc in Animal Biochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Pharmacology & Toxicology or Dairy Science or related areas.
Desirable experience: Good experience of mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, fluorescence microscopy, methods related to biological extract preparation as relevant to the project or knowledge of analysis of milk and milk products.
- Laboratory Assistant (part time)* one position.
Essential Qualification: Class XII
Desirable experience: Should have good working knowledge of MS office, document filing and some skills/experience to assist in the laboratory work.
*A group interaction of candidates will be conducted for the selection.
Place, date and time of interview: The candidates should reach the Seminar Hall at Special Centre for Molecular Medicine (SCMM), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-67 at 2:00 pm on Wed. 5 December, 2018 along with desired documents for verification. No TA-DA will be paid.
