organises Stakeholder Workshop for the project entitled
“SUNRAISE: Sustainable Natural Resource Use in Artic and High Mountainous Areas”
on 18th May, 2018
The objectives of the stakeholder workshop are:
- To understand need for development of educational program focusing on mountains
- To analyze research and development gaps and need in understanding mountains
In the day-long stakeholder workshop, we will have the lead talks on the perspectives of capacity building programs on Himalayan and mountain ecosystems. This will be followed by open discussions and feedback session.
The afternoon session will be talks and discussions on need and status of higher studies, research, training and development in the Himalayas and interfaces, consortium and networking for capacity building in Himalayas.
All are invited to attend the workshop and provide valuable inputs.
