About the speaker: Shri. Ravi Kumar is known for his contribution on Vedic Mathematics and Yoga. Since 1982, he has been traveling in Asia Pacific regions of Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Gulf Countries. He has conducted more than 200 Yoga camps and 200 youth motivational camps in 40 countries and has conducted over 500 workshops on Vedic Mathematics at many prestigious universities in 20 countries. He has written more than 15 Books in this subject area.
Vedic Mathematics deals with numerous smart formulas and tricks to perform calculations amazingly fast. These ideas have received increasing attention because of the close connection between Computer Sciences and Mathematics. Shri. Ravi Kumar described some of the 16 sutras from Vedic Mathematics in a simple, easy-to-understand fashion. He emphasized the need for further research in this area to unravel more of such hidden gems from Vedic literature.
