Applications are invited for ONE post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India sponsored research project entitled, ‘Exploring novel pathways during egress of malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum using genetic tools’.
Required Qualifications: A Master’s degree in any stream of Basic Sciences OR B.Tech/B.E. Biotechnology (4-year course after 10+2) as per the University and DST guidelines.Candidates with 1-2 years of research experience in cell & molecular biology and tissue culture will be preferred. Preferably NET or GATE qualified with a valid score or any other similar type of National level exam.
Nature and tenure of the position: The position is purely temporary in nature and will terminate with project completion. The total duration of the position is for three years (first two years as JRF and third year as SRF).
Salary: Salary as per DST guidelines.

Important points:
- Interview will be conducted for the short-listed candidates however, no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Photocopies of certificates/mark sheets and other testimonials will be collected at the time of interview. Original documents are required for verification at the time of interview. The selected candidate will be expected to join at the earliest.
